Welcome to Lake Wanaka Apartments, Wanaka's SMART-STAY accommodation option where the longer you stay the less you pay! The apartments are privately owned, well-appointed (to a 4-star apartment standard) and offered to guests at a fixed price for up to 7 nights and fantastic packages for longer stays (up to 89 days).
Located in Lake Wanaka, New Zealand, the spacious apartments have spectacular views of the Southern Alps, and are located within a resort complex. The location is within a short drive of Wanaka township or about a 20 minute walk. There is the Lone Star cafe, bar, cinema and indoor climbing complex located next door and Wanaka golf course very close at hand. Most importantly, Lake Wanaka itself is just down the road!
Due to the heavily discounted rates offered, Lake Wanaka Apartments guests DO NOT have access to the separately managed resort onsite gymnasium and hot pool complex. Access to the resort restaurant and bar facilities is available on a user-pays basis and internet access can also be purchased.
Lake Wanaka Apartments are available in two configurations: 1-Bedroom Apartments, sleeping 2-4 people and 2-Bedroom Apartments, sleeping 4-6 people.
1-Bedroom Apartment - Sleeps 2-4 People (Including Children)
Fixed Rates for up to 7 nights:
Peak Season: $1295 (winter school holidays, xmas / new year)
High Season: $1095 (ski season, January school holidays, major events)
Low Season: $895 (All other periods)
Note: Price based on 2 people. $50 extra per person up to 4 people.
2 Bedroom - Sleeps 4-6 People (including children)
Fixed Rates for up to 7 nights:
Peak Season: $1495 (winter school holidays, xmas / new year)
High Season: $1295 (ski season, January school holidays, major events)
Low Season: $995 (All other periods)
Note: Price based on 4 people. $50 extra per person up to 6 people.
What's Included:
Includes up to 7 nights accommodation (still great value if you want to stay less nights but pricing is based on a 7-night minimum)
Linen supplied based on one set of linen per person per 7 nights in a standard bedding configuration (1 Bedroom = king size bed, 2 Bedroom = king size bed and two single bed) Bed's may be split or joined at extra cost of $50 per booking.

Longer Stays
Want to stay longer than 7 nights? Yes you can! Accommodation packages are available in multiples of 7 nights up to 28 nights at 10% discount. You can also stay up to 89 nights at Lake Wanaka Apartments, please Contact Us for more information.
For stays longer than 28 nights apartments are offered on a non-serviced basis and guests will be responsible for:
- Linen hire (can be arranged – fee charged)
- Cleaning and servicing including removal of rubbish/garbage (can be arranged – fee charged)
- Ensuring that the apartment is left in the same condition as commencement of stay
- Power and Gas utility costs (billed monthly)
- Complying with the terms and conditions of apartment use
Wanaka is the ultimate ski holiday location with four world-class ski facilities nearby (Treble Cone, Cardrona, Waiorau Snow Farm, and Snow Park) that cater for all levels and abilities of skiers and snowboarders. The snow farm has an extensive network of Nordic ski trails, and there is vast terrain all around for the unforgettable heli-skiing experience.
Wanaka township is situated on the southern shores of Lake Wanaka, a spectatular alpine lake. The town is surrounded by the beautiful vistas of New Zealand's Southern Alps and provides access to Mount Aspiring National Park. With its long, hot summers, stunning autumn colours, and snow-capped mountains in winter the views are ever-changing.
Wanaka is also a world-renowned trout and salmon fishing area in the nearby rivers and lakes. The biennial Warbirds Over Wanaka air show is not to be missed and features many historical aircraft. Over 80,000 visitors attend the air show, traditionally held at Easter. The Festival Of Colour is a wonderful celebration of the visual and perfoming arts, held in alternate years.
